41st ADIPEC OPENS IN ABU DHABI

AqThe 41st Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) has officially opened in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), drawing participation from over 45 energy ministers and 250 chief executives representing leading global energy companies. The event, renowned as one of the world’s largest and most influential gatherings for the energy sector, provides a platform for high-level dialogue on the future of global energy, sustainability, and technological innovation.


Among the distinguished participants are Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), and Ahmadu Musa Kida, Non-Executive Chairman of NNPC Ltd., alongside other board members and senior executives.
At this year’s edition, the NNPC delegation is making a bold push to spotlight Nigeria’s Energy Transformation, showcasing the country’s commitment to cleaner energy development, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships aimed at driving sustainable growth across the oil and gas value chain.


Speaking on the sidelines of the conference, GCEO Bashir Bayo Ojulari reaffirmed NNPC Ltd.’s dedication to advancing Nigeria’s energy transition agenda through innovation, transparency, and collaboration with global partners. He emphasized that Nigeria’s participation at ADIPEC 2025 underscores the country’s position as a key player in Africa’s energy landscape and a reliable partner in the evolving global energy ecosystem.
The ADIPEC 2025 conference brings together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and innovators to discuss the most pressing issues shaping the future of energy — from decarbonization strategies to digital transformation and energy security.
