Hon. Waliu Ifedolapo Owode Facilitates Agricultural Aid for 11 Beneficiaries in Ijebu East

Ijebu-Ode, June 7, 2024 — Hon. Waliu Ifedolapo Owode, the 10th Assembly member of Ogun State representing the Ijebu East State Constituency, has facilitated a significant agricultural aid program benefiting 11 individuals through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the Federal Department of Agricultural Extension Services.

The program, held at the Ijebu-Ode Local Government premises, provided each beneficiary with 25 day-old chicks, three bags of feed, essential drugs, and a cash gift of ten thousand naira. This initiative aims to support local farmers and enhance food security in the region.

During the event, Mr. Babatunde Anifowose expressed his gratitude to Hon. Waliu Owode Ifedolapo, popularly known as Oloogun-Ebi, for his efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

“Honorable Waliu Owode Ifedolapo, known as Oloogun-Ebi, has shown remarkable initiative in bringing the benefits of democracy directly to the people. If all our political office holders worked like him, Nigeria would be a much better place. This is arguably the first time we have a square peg in a square hole in Ijebu East politics. May Oloogun-Ebi live long and continue to be successful,” Anifowose remarked.
