APC IJEBU ODE LEADERS & STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

The meeting started with a minute silence in honour of Hon. Fatai Atoyegbe Ward 6 party chairman and Hon Prince Abimbola, former Local government appointee.

The meeting was declared open by the Ijebu-Ode APC Party Chairman, Hon Suraju Logere, and the Honourable
Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser, Hon. Dapo Okubadejo expressed his appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders and affirmed that the stakeholders’ meetings would continue to hold regularly. He called for the integration of all political groups and structures into the main APC Party Structure to strengthen unity, progress and fully accommodate the decampees into the fold of the party.

Hon Prince OlaDapo Okubadejo highlighted several developmental projects done so far and still ongoing by this administration ably led by our dynamic and visionary leader and boss, His Excellency, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun CON, including major road constructions across Ijebu-Ode LGA (FUSIGBOYE STREET TO ASHAFA, MOBORODE TO OMO-OWO, IGBEBA TO YIDI, OLISA TO SAKA ASHIRU AND EPE GARRAGE ROUNDABOUT, , ITORO ROUNDABOUT, AWUJALE PALACE WAY/ITALE DOWN TO IDOBI, STADIUM ROAD AND IDOMILA JUNCTION, AWOKOYA DOWN TO IGBEBA JUNCTION WITH EXPANSION, TAM BALOGUN, IKANGBA, OSHINUBI, NEW ROAD, ABEOKUTA ROAD DOWN TO OBALENDE, ERINLU TO IMODI MOSA, IJEBU-ODE CLUB ROAD, and many more), the regeneration of the GRA Housing Estate in Igbeba, upgraded Ijebu-Ode Technical College, Ijebu Economic Development Cluster along Ijebu-Ode Epe Expressway, which houses the newly federal government approved Inland Dry Port, and a Federal Government Rail line that will enhance connectivity for ease business transactions. He also informed us forthcoming, complete renovation of Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, and the just approved construction of Itanrin Sabo Road down to the road beside Ijebu-Ode Central Mosque.

Hon. Okubadejo stressed the need for unity and reiterated that opportunities in government would only be channelled through the party while warning against factionalism. He confirmed assisting many constituents into state and federal employment and promised more on his effective and efficient representation.

Stakeholders raised various concerns: Otunba Fagade appealed for repairs of the Okun Owa and Ikoto Road, Hon. Lekan Adebanjo mentioned the growing issue of refuse dumping, Hon. Arowolo (Arokem) and Hon. Sesan Adenaike along with Hon Bukky Araba called for the completion of the Ikoto Bridge. while Hon. Biyi Oduyemi (Ocean B) appealed for the construction of the Lagos Garage–Adeola Road.

Hon. Prince OlaDapo Okubadejo responded, the party leaders, stakeholders, and entire good people of Ijebu-Ode LGA to appreciate and thank His Excellency Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun CON for the infrastructural developments and transformation of Ijebu-Ode, and for projects still ongoing in Ijebu-Ode LGA, because we have never had it good in recent time. He assured that all issues would be communicated back to His Excellency, our Leader, Boss and Governor, (Mr Talk n Do). He mentioned the donation of tablets to support voter registration activities and reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing resources for the advancement of APC in Ijebu-Ode. He also made known the cash donation of the apex leaders in support towards the continuous INEC registration.

The meeting closed with renewed calls for unity, discipline, and collective effort to strengthen the party and expand its influence across the local government.
