
AWOOF Announces Generous Cash Giveaway for Salah Festival
Ijebu East, Ogun State — June 13, 2024 — The AWOOF (Alhaji Waliu Owode Oloogun-Ebi Foundation), an NGO dedicated to community development and service, has announced a substantial cash giveaway to mark the upcoming Salah festival. Renowned for its efforts to alleviate poverty in Ogun State through skills acquisition, scholarships, bursaries, and various empowerment initiatives, the foundation has distributed over N10 million to various community leaders and members.

The beneficiaries of this generous giveaway include the League of Ijebu East Imams and Alfas, traditional leaders (Kabiyesi), party leaders, party members, the AWOOF Muslim Team, APC members and leaders, as well as the general public. In total, 60 individuals and groups will receive cash prizes to celebrate the Salah festival.
AWOOF, the brainchild of Honorable Waliu Ifedolapo Owode, also known as Oloogun-Ebi, a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ijebu East Constituency, has consistently provided support to widows, students, and the less privileged in the community. This latest initiative underscores the foundation’s commitment to uplifting the socio-economic status of residents in Ogun State.
