BEFORE JOINING THE ARGUNGU FESTIVAL, I COMMISSIONED KEY PROJECTS IN BIRNIN KEBBI

President has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-centred development, declaring that progress must directly impact the lives of citizens across the country.
Speaking in Birnin Kebbi before proceeding to the world-renowned , the President said he commissioned several landmark projects aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving public services in Kebbi State.

The projects include the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat Complex, a new modern motor park, dual carriageways, a college of nursing, and critical road infrastructure designed to ease transportation and enhance economic activities within the state.

“Development must touch lives directly,” President Tinubu stated, emphasizing that tangible improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and public service welfare are central to his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President noted that Kebbi’s steady progress in agriculture, healthcare delivery, education, and civil service welfare demonstrates what purposeful leadership can achieve when federal and state governments collaborate effectively.
From fertiliser support for farmers to the rehabilitation of hospitals, from the construction of new classrooms to the expansion of road networks, he said the foundation for long-term prosperity is steadily being laid.

Highlighting the significance of the Argungu Festival, President Tinubu described it as a cultural showcase that presents Nigeria’s rich heritage to the world, while the newly commissioned infrastructure symbolizes the nation’s ambition and forward-looking vision.
“The Argungu Festival shows the world our heritage and our infrastructure shows the world our ambition. Together, they tell one story — that Nigeria is stable, Nigeria is building, and Nigeria is ready,” he said.
The President assured Nigerians that his administration will deepen its support for agriculture, tourism, food security, and rural communities across the federation, stressing that sustainable growth depends on peace, productivity, and unity.

He concluded by expressing confidence in the nation’s future, stating that the path to prosperity lies in collective effort and unwavering commitment to development.
“The future belongs to a peaceful and productive Nigeria,” the President affirmed.
