Benue Police Confirm Abduction of Four Female University Students
The Benue State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of four female students of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi. The incident occurred in the late hours of Tuesday outside the university’s campus, sparking panic among students and residents.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene, confirmed the abduction and assured that investigations are underway to secure the release of the students.
“The Benue State Police Command confirms the abduction of four female students of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi. We have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident and are working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the students,” Anene stated.
