Delta State Police Command Imposes Movement Restriction for LGA Elections
Asaba, Delta State – The Delta State Police Command has announced a movement restriction on Saturday, July 13, 2024, during the Local Government Area (LGA) elections. The restriction is part of measures to ensure a peaceful and orderly voting process.
Residents are advised that while they can go out to vote, they must carry their voters’ cards. However, there will be no vehicular movement allowed throughout the state on election day.
The only exceptions to this rule are students taking the NABTEB examinations and individuals on essential duties, who will be permitted to move.
The Delta State Police Command urges all residents to comply with these restrictions and ensure a peaceful election process.
