EARLY ARRIVAL OF GOVERNORS @ 6TH PHYSICAL MEETING
Abuja, Nigeria | October 24, 2025
Governors from thirty states across the country are currently converging in Abuja for the 6th edition of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) physical meeting scheduled for 2025. The high-level gathering is expected to deliberate on critical national issues in collaboration with heads of key federal government establishments and agencies.
Already, Governors of Gombe, Nasarawa, and Kebbi States, alongside several deputy governors and the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), have arrived early at the venue, signaling the importance attached to the meeting.
While the official agenda has not been made public, reliable sources hint that discussions will likely center on the nation’s economy and other vital sectors of governance. The session, as customary with NGF meetings, is expected to hold behind closed doors.
Correspondent Abubakar Akwanga reports that the meeting underscores the governors’ commitment to addressing pressing developmental challenges and strengthening intergovernmental collaboration for national progress.
