
FIVE WAYS TO BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE BEFORE AN INTERVIEW

Getting ready for an interview may be very scary, and your anxiety level may increase. Days and hours of preparation may not be sufficient for the “mild” panic that comes with facing an interviewer.
You can calm yourself and present yourself as collected in FIVE ways.
• Having a calm and collected body posture. Try to make eye contact.

• Having a strong tone of voice and avoiding rambling.

• Smiling and looking approachable.

• Practicing your handshake. Try to portray a confident stance, even though you don’t really feel that way.

• Being interactive with the employer or interviewer. Ask the interviewer questions. Appear confident and self-motivated. This will boost your chances of getting the job.
