Gov Eno Inspects Projects, Reassures Timely Completion

Oron, Akwa Ibom State, January 29, 2026

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work on several ongoing projects across the state, cutting across the maritime sector, healthcare, and agriculture.


The Governor made this known shortly after inspecting the Maritime Jetty project in Oron, one of the key infrastructure initiatives aimed at boosting marine transportation and economic activities in the coastal area. During the inspection, Governor Eno commended the level of work done so far and noted that the project aligns with his administration’s commitment to sustainable development.


He reassured residents of Akwa Ibom State of the unwavering commitment of both the contractors and the state government to ensure the timely completion of all government projects, stressing that quality would not be compromised.
Governor Eno emphasized that his administration remains focused on delivering durable and people-oriented infrastructure capable of stimulating economic growth and improving the living standards of the people of Akwa Ibom State. He added that regular inspections would continue to ensure contractors adhere strictly to project specifications and timelines.


The Governor’s tour forms part of ongoing efforts by the state government to track progress, ensure accountability, and deliver dividends of democracy to citizens across all sectors.
