GOVERNOR ALIA CONDOLES WITH SENATOR ABBA MORO OVER DEATH OF SONS

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, following the tragic loss of his son, Peter Moro, and his grandson, Abba Moro Jnr.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia described the loss as “painful and devastating,” noting that the grief brought by such a double tragedy would touch the heart of anyone who believes in the sanctity of human life.

“This is a deeply sorrowful moment, not just for the Moro family, but for all of Benue State. The death of two promising lives in such quick succession is heartbreaking,” the statement reads. “I urge Senator Abba Moro, his family, the people of Benue South, and indeed the entire State, to take solace in the will of God, who alone gives and takes life.”

The Governor also offered prayers for the family, asking God to console them in this time of immense grief and to grant the departed souls eternal rest.
Senator Abba Moro currently serves as the Senate Minority Leader and is a prominent political figure from Benue State.
