GOVERNOR ZULUM ON SYMPATHY VISITS TO MAFA AND DIKWA AFTER TERRORISTS ATTACKS

Following the early morning terrorist attacks on Mafa and Dikwa Local Government Areas of Borno State, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has paid a sympathy visit to the affected communities to commiserate with residents and assess the situation firsthand.
During the visit, Governor Zulum held closed-door meetings with military commanders stationed in both Mafa and Dikwa, where discussions centered on strengthening security operations and preventing future incidents.
The Governor expressed deep concern over the renewed attacks and assured the people of his administration’s commitment to working closely with security agencies to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region. He also commended the troops for their swift response in repelling the assailants and restoring order.
Reports indicate that normalcy has since returned to both communities, with residents resuming their daily activities and security presence intensified to safeguard lives and property.
Governor Zulum reaffirmed his administration’s determination to continue supporting victims of insurgency while pursuing developmental projects aimed at rebuilding affected communities and enhancing resilience across Borno State.
