HONORABLE WALIU IFEDOLAPO OWODE YOUTH CUP – 1ST EDITION: Empowering Youth Dreams in Ijebu East
The exciting football competition, now underway since Thursday, September 2023, has been made possible through the unwavering support and sponsorship of Honorable Waliu Ifedolapo Owode, the newly elected Assembly Member of Ijebu East and a distinguished member of the PDP.
As a dedicated PDP flag bearer and Youth Representative for his constituency, Honorable Owode is driven by his passion for the youth and sports. In his quest to unearth hidden talents within his community, he has organized this competition, spanning across the 11 political wards. The inaugural match, a spectacle in itself, took place at Community Grammar School, Oke-Ife, kicking off at 2:00 pm, followed by subsequent matches at various selected fields in Ijebu East, commencing an hour after the opening ceremony.
Honorable Owode extends his heartfelt gratitude to the youth of Ijebu East for their enthusiastic participation in this competition.
He promises even more community events during his tenure, all aimed at promoting unity, development, and outstanding service to the community.
