HOW TO FIND YOUR LIFE’S PURPOSE AND EARN A FORTUNE FROM IT

A TedX speaker surveyed his friends who were all graduates of Yale University and from his survey, he found out that;

Although many of his friends were successful and quite comfortable in terms of finance, they weren’t satisfied with what they were doing.

They still felt some sort of emptiness that money could not account for.

The results of his small survey are applicable almost everywhere there are rich people and the same inference will be drawn;

Money answers all things except a few; satisfaction and fulfillment.

So how do you find your life’s purpose and make a fortune out of it?

Because if you run around doing things that satisfy you without earning anything for it, you’ll die a “passionate” death.

The first thing to do is to;

KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

This is quite simple because every one of us can give a vivid description of ourselves to anyone who asks so we’ll slide over to the next, which is;

FIND OUT WHAT YOU DO BEST.

Now, this could be anything from dancing to playing football to hairdressing to even running.

Find that one thing you do best and develop it well enough to solve a need with it.

Khabby Lame is the second most followed celebrity on TikTok because he just wanted to make people laugh. So whatever thing you have to offer, once developed can earn you satisfaction and a wad of cash as well.

Now you have developed your skill well enough to use it to solve a problem, you now have to;

FIND AN AUDIENCE

The question; “who needs my skill” should be the next thing in your mind because if you show your skills to the wrong audience, it’ll be as useless to them as a newspaper will be to a blind man.

You can start searching for your audience by merely showcasing your skill to a wide range of people and letting it do the filtering itself.

It is normal for some people to ignore what you have to offer but that doesn’t mean you should stop.

Your audience is somewhere out there but you must consistently search for them to find them.

Now you have your audience, what next?

TAILOR YOUR SKILL OR SERVICES TO MEET THEIR PERSONAL NEEDS.

You have a good number of people who are attracted to you because of a general affinity for what you do but to get that satisfaction you want, you have to tailor your service to meet their very own needs.

We all have a sense of fulfillment when we solve a person’s problem, so what better way to solve a problem than with what we do best?

Meet the needs of every one of your audience and they will be more than willing to come again. 

Now there’s a popular belief that one’s passion doesn’t foot bills or put food on the table but it’s all a lie.

Remember, I said that you must develop your skill well enough so that it can solve a need.

If your skill can’t solve a need, you can’t get maximum satisfaction from it and in turn, you can’t earn from it.

Steve Harvey once said that it is easy to become a millionaire. All you have to do is get someone to pay you ten dollars for a service rendered or a skill and then, repeat.

So, earn satisfaction and affluence by doing what you do best.
