
KADIRS Seals Telecommunication Masts Over Unpaid Taxes
The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has taken decisive action against telecommunication companies operating within the state, sealing eight masts for outstanding unpaid taxes amounting to a staggering N5.8 billion.

In a move aimed at enforcing tax compliance and revenue generation, KADIRS shut down the telecommunications masts located across various areas in the urban region of Kaduna State. The affected masts include those belonging to major telecom operators such as MTN, GLO, Airtel, and 9-Mobile.
The sealed masts, listed by KADIRS, are as follows:
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Tafawa Balewa Way, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- GLO Mast – Shehu Laminu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Surami Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Etsu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- MTN, Airtel, GLO, 9-Mobile Masts (ATC) – Nagwamatse Road, Kaduna.
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Nagwamatse Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Shehu Laminu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
- MTN Mast (IHS) – Kabala Junction bye-Pass, Kaduna.
