LATE ESTU BASSA-NGE BRIG. GEN. ABU ALI BURIED IN GBOLOKO, KOGI STATE

The remains of the Late Estu Bassa-Nge Kingdom, Brigadier General Abu Ali, have been laid to rest in his palace in Gboloko, located in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The funeral, conducted according to Islamic rites, was performed by the Nigerian Army in honour of the late traditional ruler and distinguished senior military officer.
A delegation from the Nigerian Army, led by the 12 Brigade Commander, Lokoja, Brigadier General Kasim Umar Sidi, presided over the burial rituals. Brigadier General Sidi performed the dust-to-dust rites and other ceremonial obligations as a mark of respect for the late Brigadier General, who was widely known for his service, leadership, and contributions both to the military and to his community.
The burial drew mourners from across the Bassa-Nge Kingdom and beyond, reflecting the profound impact and legacy Brig. Gen. Abu Ali leaves behind.
