Malcolm X: The True Definition Of Black Excellence

Malcolm X also known as Malcolm Little, Muslim name el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, was born in the early hours of 19th of May,  1925, Omaha, Nebraska, U.S; A popular African American leader and prominent figure in the in the black america race in the United States Of America, his giant strides in articulating for black nationalism and eradication of segregation, racism, subjugation and police brutality of the blacks.

Malcolm X was born to religious family in Nebraska, his father was a Reverend father who was a baptist minister, he was killed in a car accident possibly by victims of white murders, Malcolm’s family were stricken with poverty, with his mother trying to fend for him and his younger sisters, she lost her mental health and got admitted to am insane asylum, this made Malcolm and his sisters to move to foster homes, this demoralized him and made him turn to street pimp even when he was abused by his class teacher that he would not amount to nothing, he was a street hustler, drug dealer and leader of notorious gang in Harlem at that time, while in prison for a robbery, he became sober and changed to the ways of Islam,  this made him find another purpose which is the freedom of the blacks, no subjugation, racism but freedom, he faced so many challenges, he was jailed, shoved, arrested, and tagged by the white government as a Negro, he didn’t give up, he was one of the key figures that established the Afro-American Nationalist groups in the United States Of America, he fought and spoken against racism and stereotyping, he was an activist, a bold and fearless public speaker until his assassination in 1965.

Malcolm X was survived by his wife, Betty Shazzbazz, whom he married in 1958, and six daughters. His martyrdom, ideas, and speeches contributed to the development of Black nationalist ideology and the Black Power movement and helped to popularize the values of autonomy and independence among African Americans in the 1960s and ’70s.
