Ogun State Government Distributes Palliatives at Eid Praying Grounds
In a bid to mark the Eid-el-fitri celebration, the Ogun State government, under the leadership of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, continued its palliative distribution, signaling hope for economic recovery amidst the challenges faced by Nigeria. Governor Abiodun expressed optimism about the nation’s economic prospects, attributing the positive trajectory to the collective prayers offered by Nigerians during the Lent and Ramadan fasting periods.

Addressing Muslim faithful at his Iperu residence in Ikenne Local Government Area, Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in overcoming challenges. He highlighted the appreciable appreciation of the Naira against the dollar and underscored the effectiveness of the current policies and programs implemented by the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government.

“Ramadan is a period of self-reflection and compassion,” Governor Abiodun remarked, urging Nigerians to continue embodying the spirit of forgiveness and kindness towards one another. He commended the Muslim community for their dedication during Ramadan, describing it as a spiritual exercise beneficial to both individuals and the nation at large.
