NNPC MEDICAL SERVICES ENCOURAGES WOMEN TO PRIORITIZE REGULAR GYNAECOLOGICAL CHECK-UPS

Abuja, Nigeria — March 2026
Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) Medical Services has urged women across the country to prioritize their health by undergoing regular gynaecological check-ups, emphasizing that early detection of health issues can significantly improve long-term wellbeing.
The organization noted that routine screenings play a vital role in identifying potential health concerns at an early stage, helping women maintain optimal reproductive health while providing reassurance and peace of mind.
As part of activities for the month of March, NNPC Medical Services announced that women can visit designated hospitals for routine screenings, including Pap smears, pelvic examinations, breast health discussions, and other related medical assessments.
According to the medical team, the initiative is aimed at making essential health services more accessible to women and encouraging proactive health practices that can prevent serious complications later in life.
The screenings are available at NNPC hospitals located in Abuja, Benin, Kaduna, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Warri, where qualified healthcare professionals will provide consultations and examinations.
NNPC Medical Services emphasized that early detection remains one of the most effective ways to prevent life-threatening illnesses and improve treatment outcomes.
The organization therefore encouraged women to take advantage of the opportunity by scheduling routine check-ups and prioritizing their health, noting that consistent medical screening is a key step toward a healthier and more confident future.
