President Tinubu Approves the Postings of Ambassadors

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has approved the postings of ambassadors to Nigeria’s diplomatic missions across the world as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s foreign policy objectives and international partnerships.

According to a statement issued by the Presidency of Nigeria, the appointments and postings are aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s diplomatic presence and advancing the nation’s strategic interests globally.

The newly posted ambassadors are expected to represent Nigeria in various countries and international organizations, where they will promote bilateral relations, encourage trade and investment opportunities, and protect the interests of Nigerian citizens abroad.

The Presidency noted that the move reflects the administration’s commitment to repositioning Nigeria’s foreign service and ensuring that the country’s diplomatic missions effectively support economic diplomacy and international cooperation.

The ambassadors will assume their duties after completing the necessary diplomatic processes, including presentation of their letters of credence to their respective host countries.
