President Tinubu Congratulates Mohammed Badaru Abubakar on His Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, the Honourable Minister of Defence, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu joined the Badaru family, friends, and numerous well-wishers in celebrating the esteemed statesman, describing him as a “consummate administrator” whose contributions to national development remain commendable.

Alhaji Badaru, who served as the Executive Governor of Jigawa State from 2015 to 2023, is widely respected for his leadership in governance, particularly in the areas of security, agriculture, and infrastructure development. He holds the traditional titles of Sardauna of Ringim and Walin Jahun, honours that reflect his influence and service to his community.
President Tinubu praised the Minister of Defence for his unwavering commitment to public service and national security, particularly in his current role within the Federal Executive Council.
“As he marks another year, I commend his steadfast dedication to the service of our country,” the President said. “His legacy in Jigawa State and continued contributions at the federal level stand as testaments to his leadership and patriotism.”
President Tinubu concluded his message by offering prayers for Alhaji Badaru, asking God Almighty to bless him with continued good health, wisdom, and strength in the years ahead.
