
President Tinubu Signs North West Development Commission Bill into Law
Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved and enacted the North West Development Commission Bill, creating a new body aimed at addressing the development needs of the North West zone.

The announcement was made by Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, during an evening meeting at his office within the National Assembly Complex in Abuja. Senator Jibrin, who sponsored the bill, expressed his deep gratitude to the President for his support.
“Mr. President has signed the North West Development Commission Bill into law. It is a body that is going to assist the development of the zone,” Senator Jibrin stated.
He emphasized the significance of this development for the region, saying, “Today is the happiest day of our lives. We have been praying that this commission be established. Now is the time to enhance the wellbeing and development of the North West zone.”
Senator Jibrin lauded President Tinubu’s commitment to national development, urging Nigerians to remain patient and supportive. “This means that the President has the political will to develop this country. I call on Nigerians to be patient with the President. He has done well for us, and we appreciate what he has done. This means that he is a leader to trust,” he added.
