The Commander Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (NAEME), , on 17 February 2026, presided over a send-forth ceremony in honour of posted-out officers at Headquarters NAEME, Bonny Cantonment, Lagos.

In his remarks, the CCEME described the departing officers as the nucleus and driving force of the Headquarters, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to policy direction, equipment support coordination and overall Corps administration. Major General Adereti expressed confidence in the capacity of the officers to excel in their new appointments and charged them to take equipment support to a top-notch level in their respective formations.
