USSR divided: The War No One Expected
Going back to history, USSR is a Russian-dominated Soviet union that is one of the dreadful superpower states in the world since its establishment the decades after it was which encompasses 15 republics Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belorussia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Latvia; USSR also known as the Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics it was established by the signed treaty created by the soviet socialist republics of Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, and the Transcaucasian Federation by which they became its constituent republics. For most of its history, the USSR was a highly centralized state despite its nominal structure as a federation of republics.
Russia invasion of Ukraine is a phenomenon and act of war that is generally unacceptable in lay man terms because it was not necessary due to the fact that Ukraine had to join NATO(The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) is a collective defense organization established by North Europe and some other super power countries, Ukraine joining NATO is a deviant act to Russia who has been protecting them defensively through the years, the most asked question that one could think of is; is Ukraine really a sovereign state? Do they still receive order from Russia to take some actions? The answer should be No since Ukraine is a sovereign state, they can take decisions on their own.
Russia, one of the superpowers of the world, took a drastic action of declining Ukraine to join NATO is to eliminate and invade them which was not the best action, this dispute/disagreement can be settled through dialogue and meetings, but Russia being a strong willed country ruled by a strong willed leader that he couldn’t allow USA to have control over a colony(Ukraine) that he gave independence, so one could ordinarily say that there’s a bad blood between USA and Russia due to the control the USA have over some countries and Russia detest that; USSR was one of the most united, centralized and peaceful republic before until the Soviet dissolution, some states wanted sovereignty, which resulted to creation of many states, though things remained peaceful until the issue of NATO came up and the republics of USSR are against themselves leading to war unrest, chaos, numerous deaths and casualties, it is one of the saddest time of human history.
