The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has confirmed the resolution of a long-standing political crisis in Rivers State. In an exclusive interview, Wike revealed that the lingering discord between him and Governor Similayi Fubara has been amicably resolved, a development he credited to the mediation efforts of President Bola Tinubu.

The Minister shared the update following an inspection of ongoing road projects in the city centre, emphasizing how the resolution would positively impact the residents of Rivers State.

“This development marks a new chapter of unity and collaboration,” Wike stated, noting that the successful mediation underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to fostering harmony and addressing internal political friction within states.

The FCT Minister expressed optimism that the resolution would not only strengthen political relationships but also facilitate smoother governance and accelerated development projects across Rivers State.

The interview was reported by Onoze Yakubu, who accompanied Wike during the project inspection tour in the Federal Capital Territory.
