POLICE STRENGTHEN COMMAND CAPACITY AS PMF PASSES OUT SQUADRON COMMANDERS

The Nigeria Police Force has strengthened its command and operational capacity following the passing-out of newly trained Squadron Commanders of the Police Mobile Force (PMF).

The training was designed to enhance the commanders’ leadership abilities, tactical knowledge and operational effectiveness in managing PMF personnel and responding to security challenges.

The Police authorities said the initiative reflects the Force’s commitment to building a more professional, disciplined and responsive security institution. The newly trained commanders are expected to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to improve coordination, maintain public safety and strengthen operational readiness within their respective formations.

The development also forms part of broader efforts to enhance the capacity of the Nigeria Police Force to effectively address evolving security threats across the country.
