ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS ONE SUSPECTED CULTIST; DISRUPTS GATHERING IN FEGGE

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a suspected cultist and disrupted a gathering believed to be linked to a cult group in the Fegge area of Onitsha.

The operation, carried out by police operatives as part of ongoing efforts to prevent cult-related activities and maintain public safety, reportedly led to the arrest of one suspect.

The Command said the intervention was aimed at preventing the gathering from escalating into activities capable of threatening peace and security in the area.

The arrested suspect is expected to assist investigators as the police intensify efforts to identify other individuals allegedly connected to the gathering. The Command also reiterated its commitment to tackling cultism and other forms of criminality across the state.
