PRESIDENT TINUBU SALUTES SENATOR YARI AT 58

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Senator Yari as a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress, an experienced administrator and a grassroots mobiliser whose political experience and organisational abilities have contributed to the growth of the party and national development.

Yari served as Governor of Zamfara State for two terms, from 2011 to 2019. During his tenure, he also served as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, where he provided leadership and promoted cooperation and unity among state governors.

President Tinubu also acknowledged Senator Yari’s current responsibility as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, where he is coordinating campaign activities and efforts to highlight the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The President commended Yari for his commitment, resilience and dedication to the progressive ideals of the APC, while expressing confidence in his continued contributions to the party, his constituents and Nigeria.

President Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Senator Yari many more years in good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the people and contributing to the development of the country.
