President Tinubu Receives Delta State Senators, Led by Festus Keyamo, at State House

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday received in audience a delegation of Senators from Delta State, led by Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development. The meeting, held at the State House in Abuja, focused on critical national issues and the development agenda for Delta State.  

During the meeting, the Senators discussed various matters of national importance, including infrastructure development, economic growth, and security. They also highlighted the need for increased federal support to address the unique challenges facing Delta State, particularly in the areas of oil production, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment.  

Festus Keyamo, who led the delegation, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to the development of Delta State and the nation at large. He reiterated the Senators’ support for the administration’s policies and programs aimed at fostering economic growth and improving the welfare of Nigerians.  

President Tinubu, in his response, assured the delegation of his administration’s dedication to addressing the concerns raised and ensuring equitable development across all regions of the country. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the federal government and state representatives to achieve sustainable progress.  

“We are committed to working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that every part of Nigeria benefits from our development agenda. Delta State, with its strategic importance to the nation’s economy, will continue to receive the attention it deserves,” the President stated.  

The meeting underscores the administration’s focus on inclusive governance and its efforts to engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive national development.
