TROOPS RESCUE 22 KIDNAPPED VICTIMS IN NIGER’S RAFI LGA

Troops from 18 Brigade and 45 Battalion carried out an operation in Muchiya Village, Rafi LGA, after receiving information that terrorists had gathered in the area.

When the terrorists saw the soldiers approaching, they fled into the forest. The troops pursued them and successfully rescued 22 kidnapped victims. They also recovered three motorcycles and other items abandoned by the terrorists.

The victims were later returned to their community and reunited with their families. One victim, Alhaji Hassan, had injuries from his time in captivity and was taken to a clinic for treatment.
