ATIKU CAMPAIGN COUNCIL SAYS NO ONE IS FORGOTTEN IN CAMPAIGN COUNCIL COMPOSITIONS

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council has announced that additional appointments will be made as the campaign continues to expand its national structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement, the council’s Director of Strategic Communication, Phrank Shaibu, said the recently released list of appointees represents an important phase in the organisation of the campaign, but does not constitute the final composition of the council.

Shaibu explained that the campaign leadership is still working to broaden its structure and accommodate individuals with relevant experience, commitment and capacity to contribute to its activities across the country.

The statement also sought to reassure supporters whose names were not included in the initial list. It stressed that former contributions and sacrifices made by loyal supporters have not been overlooked, urging those who may feel disappointed to remain patient and understanding.

According to the council, Atiku Abubakar remains conscious of the sacrifices made by those who have supported him over the years, with loyalty, commitment and longstanding relationships continuing to be recognised.

The campaign said its expanding structure would draw from a broad range of people, including loyal party members, experienced political leaders, professionals, young Nigerians and ordinary citizens who are willing to contribute meaningfully to the campaign.

The council therefore urged supporters to remain engaged as further appointments are expected to be announced in the course of building what it described as a broader national campaign structure.
