The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all 17 chairmanship positions in the Enugu State local government elections held on September 26, 2026.

The Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) declared the results on Sunday, confirming APC candidates as winners across all 17 Local Government Areas. The party also won all 260 councillorship seats across the state’s 260 wards, according to reports citing ENSIEC.

ENSIEC Chairman, Professor Christian Ngwu, congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to regard their victories as a call to service. Certificates of return were subsequently issued to the newly elected chairmen.
