Minister Of State Foreign Affairs Urges Media To Project Works Of The Ministry/ NTAC To Nigerians

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs has called on media organizations to give greater visibility to the activities, achievements, and initiatives of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), emphasizing the vital role of the media in informing Nigerians about the country’s diplomatic efforts.

The Minister made the appeal during an engagement with media stakeholders, noting that many of the Ministry’s contributions to Nigeria’s foreign policy, international cooperation, and development partnerships remain underreported despite their significance.
According to the Minister, the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps has continued to promote Nigeria’s image abroad by deploying skilled professionals to provide technical assistance in partner countries, strengthening bilateral relations and fostering South-South cooperation.
He urged journalists and media organizations to collaborate with the Ministry and NTAC in highlighting programmes and initiatives that advance Nigeria’s national interest, enhance the country’s global reputation, and showcase the positive impact of its diplomatic engagements.
The Minister reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to effective public communication and transparency, stressing that increased media coverage of the Ministry’s activities would help Nigerians better appreciate the value of Nigeria’s foreign policy and international development efforts.
