NIGERIA CUSTOMS RECRUITS3,852 CANDIDATES OUT 573,680 APPLICANTS

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has concluded its latest recruitment exercise, selecting 3,852 successful candidates from a total of 573,680 applicants nationwide.

The recruitment process, which attracted hundreds of thousands of applicants, was conducted as part of efforts to strengthen the Service’s operational capacity and enhance its mandate of revenue generation, border security, and trade facilitation.
According to the NCS, the exercise followed a transparent and merit-based process, with successful candidates emerging after meeting the required criteria at various stages of the recruitment.
The newly recruited personnel are expected to undergo the necessary training before being deployed to various commands and units across the country to support the Service’s operations.
