VIGILANTE RE-ARRESTS SUSPECTED VANDAL ALONG BENIN–ONITSHA TRANSMISSION LINE

A suspected vandal has been re-arrested by members of a local vigilante group for allegedly attempting to vandalise critical electricity infrastructure along the Benin–Onitsha transmission line.

According to reports, the suspect had previously been apprehended but returned to the area, where vigilant community members intercepted and detained him before handing him over to security authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution.
