FG TO OPERATIONALISE 112 CODE AS NATIONAL EMERGENCY LINE

The Federal Government has directed relevant stakeholders and emergency response agencies to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the nationwide rollout of 112 as Nigeria’s single national emergency number.

The move follows approval by the National Economic Council to adopt 112 as the unified emergency line, aimed at improving coordination and ensuring faster responses to medical emergencies, accidents, fires and security incidents.
