PRESIDENT TINUBU SALUTES GOVERNOR ADELEKE ON RE-ELECTION VICTORY, SAYS DEMOCRACY WILL CONTINUE TO FLOURISH IN THE COUNTRY

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election, describing the victory as a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in Nigeria.  

President Tinubu said he personally called Adeleke to congratulate him, noting that the outcome of the election confirmed the confidence the people of Osun State have in the governor.

He urged Adeleke, now set to lead the state for another four years, to unite the people of Osun and focus on growth, stability and socio-economic development, regardless of their political affiliations.  

The President also commended the other contestants for what he described as courage and discipline, saying their participation strengthened Nigeria’s democratic culture.

Tinubu further praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for conducting what he described as a peaceful and transparent election that produced a clear winner.
