LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT: MINISTER INSPECTS KEY FACILITIES IN BORNO AHEAD OF COMMISSIONING

The Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, has inspected key livestock development projects in Maiduguri, Borno State, ahead of their official commissioning.  

Accompanied by Borno State Deputy Governor Umar Usman Kadadur, the minister toured the Borno Liquid Nitrogen Plant, Gene Plasm Bank, cattle breeding facility, Poultry Production Unit and Dairy Processing Plant.

The inspection focused on equipment, power supply, artificial insemination, livestock breeding, poultry production and dairy processing, with the projects aimed at improving livestock productivity and strengthening the sector’s value chain in Borno State.
