ARMY INAUGURATES RENOVATED SOLDIERS CLUB, GOLF TEE BOX IN KANO

The Nigerian Army has reinforced its commitment to fostering strong civil-military relations through sporting and community-based initiatives. This was emphasized by the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Major General Gold Chibuisi, during the commissioning of the renovated Hole Number 3 Tee Box at the Kano Golf Club, a project successfully executed by Headquarters 3 Brigade Nigerian Army.


Speaking at the event, Major General Chibuisi highlighted that the renovation project aligns with the Army’s broader strategy to enhance cordial cooperation between the military and host communities. He described the initiative as a testament to the historic partnership and collaboration between the Nigerian Army and the people of Kano. According to him, the project is aimed at promoting mutual trust, understanding, sportsmanship, and cooperation.
Major General Chibuisi further commended the leadership of the Commander, 3 Brigade, Brigadier General Ahmed Tukur, praising his vision and dedication in initiating and driving the project to completion.


In his remarks, Brigadier General Tukur reaffirmed the brigade’s dedication to strengthening civil-military relations through peaceful and community-friendly initiatives. He reiterated that this project serves as a clear demonstration of the brigade’s efforts to build and maintain positive ties with its host community.


The event marked another milestone in the Nigerian Army’s ongoing efforts to engage and collaborate with communities through meaningful non-kinetic initiatives, fostering a spirit of unity and partnership.
