HON. OLATUNDE AWONUGA HONOURS ANSAR-UD-DEEN IBIADE COMMUNITY’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY, PLEDGES EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND ATTENDS ONI PARTY MEETING IN HIS HOMETOWN
Hon. Olatunde Awonuga has demonstrated his commitment to community development, educational advancement and grassroots engagement as he honoured an invitation to the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Ansar-ud-Deen, Ibi-Ade Community, in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State.
His attendance at the landmark celebration provided an opportunity to identify with the religious institution and the people of Ibi-Ade Community as they commemorated four decades of religious service, moral development, educational contributions and community building.
The 40th anniversary was a significant milestone in the history of the organisation, reflecting its enduring contributions to religious education, spiritual development, peaceful coexistence and the promotion of positive values within the community.
COMMITMENT TO EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
A major highlight of Hon. Olatunde Awonuga’s engagement was his commitment to supporting the educational development of the school through the proposed provision of critical infrastructure and facilities.
During the engagement, he promised to facilitate the provision of four blocks of classrooms, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Hub, an Administrative Centre and other essential educational facilities to improve the school’s learning environment and strengthen its institutional capacity.
The proposed projects are aimed at addressing infrastructural needs, providing a more conducive teaching and learning environment, promoting digital literacy and enhancing the overall standard of education for pupils and students.
The proposed ICT Hub is particularly significant in view of the increasing importance of technology and digital skills in contemporary education. Similarly, the proposed administrative centre is expected to provide a more organised and functional environment for the school’s administrative operations.
This commitment reflects the importance of investing in education as a sustainable means of empowering the younger generation and creating opportunities for future development.
ATTENDS ONI PARTY MEETING IN HIS HOMETOWN
In another engagement, Hon. Olatunde Awonuga attended an Oni Party meeting in his hometown, demonstrating his continued interest in grassroots participation and engagement with party members and local stakeholders.
The meeting provided an avenue for interaction, consultation and discussions on party activities, internal coordination and matters relating to strengthening grassroots participation.
His presence further underscored the importance of maintaining close relationships with party members, listening to their concerns and promoting unity, cooperation and constructive engagement within the political structure.
