Guangzhou: NACCIMA B2B Event Attracts Large Turnout of Chinese Investors, Business Leaders

Published November 3, 2026 · fatima

The Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has recorded significant participation from Chinese investors and business leaders at its Business-to-Business (B2B) event in Guangzhou, China, as efforts intensify to strengthen trade and investment relations between Nigeria and China.

The event brought together business executives, investors and representatives of various industries to explore opportunities for economic cooperation, establish strategic partnerships and promote bilateral trade between both countries.

The strong turnout of Chinese business leaders underscores growing interest in Nigeria’s economic potential, particularly in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, mining, infrastructure, technology and industrial development.

Through the B2B engagement, Nigerian businesses are expected to gain access to potential investors, explore new markets, establish commercial partnerships and attract foreign investment capable of supporting local industries.

The platform also provides an opportunity for Nigerian entrepreneurs to showcase locally produced goods and services, identify international business opportunities and strengthen their competitiveness in the global marketplace.

The engagement is particularly significant given the longstanding economic relationship between Nigeria and China, with both countries continuing to explore ways of expanding trade, investment and industrial cooperation.

NACCIMA’s participation reflects its commitment to promoting private-sector development, facilitating international business relationships and creating opportunities for Nigerian enterprises to attract foreign capital and expertise.

The event is expected to contribute to stronger commercial ties between Nigerian and Chinese businesses, while supporting Nigeria’s broader ambition of diversifying its economy, expanding exports and accelerating industrial growth.
