Nigerian Troops Neutralize Terrorists in Kaduna Ambush, Recover Arms

In a significant victory against terrorism, Nigerian Army troops have successfully ambushed a group of terrorists in Kaduna State, neutralizing three of them in the process. The operation, which took place near Kidandan Village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Friday, April 4, 2024, targeted a terrorist group known for using motorbikes to carry out their nefarious activities across the region.

Acting on credible intelligence, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle, effectively thwarting their plans as they were en route to repair their motorbikes, which serve as their primary mode of mobility during attacks. The ambush resulted in the neutralization of three terrorists and the recovery of significant arms and equipment.

Among the items recovered during the operation were one AK-47 rifle, one stock AK-47 rifle, four motorbikes, and one Motorola radio.
