
In a surprising turn of events, the Lagos State Police Command has apprehended renowned musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, for his alleged failure to fulfill the financial obligations related to the purchase of a G-Wagon vehicle.

Portable, a well-known figure in the Nigerian music scene, was taken into custody on Tuesday following accusations of defaulting on payments for a G-Wagon he acquired from a local car dealer in Lagos State.
According to reports, Portable purportedly purchased the luxury vehicle for a total sum of N27 million. However, it is alleged that he only paid an initial installment of N13 million and has yet to settle the outstanding balance of N14 million.
Confirming the arrest, Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Police Public Relations Officer, affirmed Portable’s apprehension, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought a G-Wagon for N27 million, paid N13 million and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today,” stated Hundeyin.
