2027: VP Shettima Submits President Tinubu’s Nomination Forms to APC

Abuja, Nigeria, May 7, 2026

Vice President Kashim Shettima has submitted the nomination forms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking during the submission process, Shettima rallied party members and supporters behind the President’s re-election bid, stating that Tinubu has demonstrated the capacity and leadership needed to move Nigeria forward.

The Vice President commended the President’s economic and governance reforms, describing them as strategic measures aimed at strengthening national development and improving the welfare of Nigerians.
