VP Shettima Pledges FG’s Support for Bill to Expand ICSAN Mandate

Vice President Kashim Shettima has pledged the Federal Government’s support for the speedy passage of a bill seeking to expand the mandate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
The Vice President made the pledge while speaking at the institute’s 60th anniversary celebration, where he commended ICSAN for its professionalism, integrity, and contributions to corporate governance and public administration in Nigeria.
Shettima described the institute as a critical institution that has consistently promoted ethical standards, accountability, and excellence in both the public and private sectors.
He noted that expanding the institute’s mandate would further strengthen corporate governance practices and enhance professional standards across key sectors of the economy.
The Vice President also applauded the institute’s role in training and developing professionals who contribute to national development and institutional stability.
ICSAN’s anniversary celebration brought together government officials, industry leaders, and members of the professional community to reflect on the institute’s six decades of service and contributions to governance and administration in Nigeria.
