Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has directed the State Information and Communication Development Agency (KASITDA) to deploy a newly developed digital application for the Urban Planning Office as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s Digital Transformation Agenda.

According to the Director General of KNUPDA, Dr. Bashir Abdu Muzakkari, the initiative is designed to support a seamless transition to e-governance, improving service delivery across critical areas such as health, justice, and lands administration.
He explained that the digital system will enable the automation of government processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accessibility for residents accessing public services in the state.
Dr. Muzakkari described the project as a transformative intervention expected to strengthen urban planning regulation, improve transparency, and enhance operational security within government institutions.
