South-South Governors Forum Expresses Confidence in APC First Term Governors’ Performances

The South-South Governors Forum (SSGF) has expressed strong solidarity and confidence in all first-term governors of the All Progressives Congress participating in the party’s scheduled governorship primaries.
In a statement issued by the Forum’s Chairman and Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, the governors commended their counterparts, noting that as first-term leaders, they have demonstrated visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to the progress of their respective states.
The Forum described the APC first-term governors as champions of grassroots development and contributors to the broader economic growth of the country, emphasizing that their leadership has reflected a focus on tangible results and people-oriented governance.
According to the statement, these governors have consistently driven measurable transformation across key sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social welfare, thereby improving the quality of life in their states.
