NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE HOLDS VALEDICTORY SESSION IN HONOUR OF DEPUTY COMPTROLLER-GENERAL (DCG) AJ UMANAH (RTD)

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Headquarters, Abuja, on Thursday, held a valedictory session in honour of the Deputy Comptroller-General, Works and Logistics Directorate, Ada James Umanah (RTD), in recognition of her outstanding 35 years of meritorious service to the nation.
The event was organized to celebrate the retiring DCG’s unwavering dedication, professionalism, and immense contributions to the growth and development of the Nigeria Immigration Service. Throughout her distinguished career, DCG Umanah served with commitment, integrity, and excellence, leaving behind a legacy of impactful leadership and service.
The Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn, fspsp, represented by the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Human Resource Management Directorate, DCG A. Ayeni, expressed profound appreciation for the retiring officer’s remarkable service record. He commended her loyalty, diligence, and commitment to the ideals of the Service and the nation at large, while wishing her success in her future endeavours and a fulfilling post-service life.
The ceremony was a grand celebration of an illustrious career, attended by distinguished guests, including the Controller-General of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, MFR, mni, members of the NIS top management, colleagues, as well as family and friends. The gathering provided an opportunity for well-wishers to celebrate DCG Umanah’s legacy and to honour her invaluable contributions to national service.
