TRCN LAUDS FG FOR RETURNING COUNCIL TO IPPIS

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria has commended the Federal Government for reinstating the council on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, following more than two years of financial uncertainty and administrative challenges.
Staff of the Council expressed relief and appreciation over the development, noting that the return to IPPIS marks a significant step toward restoring stability in salary payments and overall operations.
According to the workers, the prolonged absence from the payroll platform had resulted in financial strain and operational setbacks, affecting productivity and staff welfare. They described the Federal Government’s intervention as timely and necessary.
The reinstatement is expected to enhance transparency, accountability and efficiency in personnel management, while also ensuring that staff entitlements are processed seamlessly.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to improving professional standards in the teaching sector, expressing optimism that the renewed administrative stability would enable it to better fulfill its mandate.
