FG Secures Agreements for Ambassador-Designates from Ten Countries

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided an update on the ongoing process of securing acceptance, also known as agréments, for Nigeria’s newly appointed Ambassadors-designate.
The process is progressing steadily, with agréments already received from ten countries: the United Kingdom, France, United States of America, Ireland, Qatar, Republic of Benin, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Senegal, and Sierra Leone. Responses from other countries are still being awaited.
A statement by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Kimibie Ebienfa, noted that the date for the Induction Ceremony will be announced in due course, once finalised and confirmed by the Presidency.
